**Step-by-Step Enrollment Process**
STEP 1
**Provide Certification**
Bring proof of your current AHA provider card and completed Essentials course to the classroom session.
STEP 2
**Acceptance Into Training Center**
Attend the session and officially join our American Heart Association Training Center
STEP 3
**Complete AHA Instructor Candidate Application**
Finalize your application during the course session.
STEP 4
**Assist in Teaching (Monitor Session)**
Complete your monitored teaching session by assisting in a BLS Provider Course or Heartsaver Course. This will be scheduled on the same day or immediately after completing your instructor course.
American Red Cross Instructor Course

Provide proof of your current Red Cross CPR AED FIRST AID provider card or take the online or in-person course.
STEP 2

**CPR INSTRUCTOR CONTRACTOR**
What We’re Looking For:
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Areas: Openings in all 50 United States
WE PROVIDE THE ASSIGNMENTS FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM.
Pay:- $20.00 – $50.00 per hour or $125-$175 per class
Choose your own hours and schedule
- Monday to Sunday Opportunities
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified CPR Instructors with up-to-date credentials
Your Equipment Requirements:Â
- 6 Adult
- 6 Infant manikins
- 4 AED trainers
- Pool Noodles, Stack course trainers
(Don’t have manikins? Let’s discuss options! Rentals, Purchase etc)
- Conduct Red Cross training sessions for diverse groups and community members.
- Stay up to date with training materials to ensure compliance with current safety standards and best practices.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations of first aid techniques and CPR procedures.
- Assess participant performance during practical exercises and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and course completion.
- Maintain and implement safety standards and procedures at all times to ensure a well-run program in a safe, positive environment.
Requirements
- Certification as a Red Cross Instructor is required; additional certifications or experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage participants effectively in both group settings and one-on-one interactions.
